Rock Pop Cart

Shoot bouncing numbered rocks before they split. Rock Pop Cart is a free arcade shooter. Drag a cannon cart to dodge bouncing numbered rocks, shoot them into smaller pieces and clear every wave.

How to play

You drive a little cannon cart along the bottom of the arena, and it fires on its own, a steady stream of bullets straight up. Your only job is to move. Drag left or right anywhere on the screen and the cart slides the same way. You don’t need to touch the cart itself, so your finger never hides the action. On a keyboard, use the arrow keys or A and D.

Rocks bounce around the arena with a number on each. That number is its HP. Every bullet that hits removes 1 HP. When a rock reaches 0 it breaks into two smaller rocks, each with half the HP, rounded up. The smallest rocks don’t split. They just pop. Clear every rock and the next wave drops in from the top, with more HP and, as you go on, more rocks. Every fifth wave brings one huge boss rock.

If any rock touches your cart, the run is over. Rocks bounce off the walls and floor, so watch where they will land, then slip into the gap.

Scoring

  • Every point of rock HP you shoot away is 1 point.
  • Popped rocks drop gold coins. Each coin you catch with the cart is worth 5 points. Coins vanish after a few seconds, so grab them quickly.
  • Your score is shown at the top, with the current wave number below it.

Power-ups

Rocks sometimes drop a power-up badge. Catch it with the cart:

  • Double shot fires two bullets side by side.
  • Rapid fire doubles your fire rate.

Each lasts 8 seconds, and catching another of the same kind resets the timer. Power-ups never carry over to the next run, so every game starts equal.

Tips

  • Stay under a rock for a moment, then leave. Bullets only hit what is straight above you, so keep sliding as the rock bounces over.
  • Shoot big rocks near the walls. Their pieces fly out sideways and are easier to read.
  • Don’t chase coins into trouble. Coins on the floor last several seconds, so wait for a safe gap.
  • Watch the bounce height. A rock reaches the same height on every bounce, so you can predict where it lands.
  • Save your focus for small rocks. They are quick, and a cluster of them is the most dangerous part of a wave.

Why it’s fun

Rock Pop Cart is a game of reading arcs and picking moments. One shot looks like nothing, but a long stream turns a monster into a shower of pebbles. Runs are short, the controls are one finger, and your best score is saved on your device.
